To qualify for all Mary Hall Freedom Village programs you must meet the following:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older in good health;
- Must be prepared to participate in a comprehensive nursing assessment (medical screening);
- Must have a diagnosable substance use disorder as a primary diagnosis; or chronically homeless
- If diagnosed with a co-occurring disorder, you must have a 30-day supply of medication on hand for residential treatment
- Must have a TB (Tuberculosis) and RPR (syphilis) test done within the last 6 months and provide a copy of the results;
- If you have an open DFCS case, a referral will need to be provided from the case manager.

- How long is the program? Treatment is individualized and based off participants compliance in the program.
- Are pets allowed? No
- Are family visitations allowed? Only if court ordered
- Can I keep my current job or get a job? The focus is recovery. Participants are allowed secured employment after 60 days of treatment.
- Can I take medication while there? Yes, however Benzo's and Opioids are not allowed
- I have a health condition will I be allowed to come? An assessment will need to be completed by medical team to determined approval for treatment.
- Are we Thor approved? No
- What are the living conditions? Apartments
- What do we do day to day? Participant in daily groups - psychoeducational, trauma, 12 Steps, Self-Care, and evidenced based groups.
- Can I smoke? Yes, cigarettes only.
- Can I bring my child? Yes, if space is available
- How many people do I live with? The number may vary. It depends on availability and placement in the program.
- Can I have my phone? Yes, after 60 days of treatment.
- When can I talk with the participant?
- Weekly w/ their counselor (under 30 days)
- Every Sunday w/ housing staff (between 30 -60 days)
- Participant cell phone (after 60 days)
- What can I bring someone in treatment? Cash, gift cards, and cigarettes
- When can I visit a participant? On Family Day – 3rd Saturday of the month/Virtual visits are also allowed. Must be approved by primary counselor.
