Our VIP program moves homeless veterans from homelessness to Hope. Providing emergency services and Supportive Housing for women to rebuild and restore life and life abundantly
Veterans Independent Path (VIP)
VA-funded transitional housing and supportive services for 12 single female Veterans experiencing homelessness, working toward permanent housing and long-term stability.
Hope Renewed
Newly awarded VA-funded program will provide supportive housing and services for single female Veterans and female Veterans with children.
Services include:
- Assessment & Orientation
- Career Development
- Employment Opportunities
- Ongoing Case Management
Admission Criteria:
- Veteran has served at least 1 day in active U.S. military (DD-214 is required)
- Discharged under other than dishonorable conditions
- Male Veterans must be the legal, primary caregiver for dependent children under the age of 18
- The Veteran must be at risk for or currently homeless, as defined by:
- Homeless Emergency Assistance and Rapid Transition to Housing Act (HEARTH) to includes those:
- Fleeing domestic violence and other dangerous or life-threatening conditions
- Have experienced homelessness within the previous 60 days or been housed for 60 days or less
